In the picturesque community of Au am Rhein, idyllically located between Karlsruhe and Rastatt, is the professional workshop of Tom Stolz, known as the Saxtom saxophone workshop. This workshop is a secret haven for saxophonists seeking the finest craftsmanship for their instruments. However, the lighting situation in the workplace presented a significant challenge.
The search for the right light in the workshop
To overcome this challenge, Tom Stolz started looking for a solution. A telephone consultation was arranged, during which Tom Stolz showed detailed photos of his workplace. Afterwards, together with a lighting expert from Lichttechnik Meier, important criteria for the ideal lighting were determined, including high luminosity, flicker-free and glare-free light as well as the easy adjustability and dimmability of the lamp.
Choosing the optimal workshop lighting
After comprehensive advice and a thorough selection, the decision was finally made for an articulated lamp - LED Premium Line 32W. This high-quality light not only promises impressive luminosity, but also flicker-free and glare-free illumination. Strong light, in particular, is crucial for the precise craftsmanship in Tom Stolz's saxophone workshop. The targeted lighting makes the finest details visible, making the repair and maintenance of the saxophones much more precise and efficient. In addition, the glare-free lighting helps ensure that the eyes are not strained even during long hours of work. The innovative lighting solution literally makes Tom Stolz's workplace shine in a new light and raises the quality of his craftsmanship to a new level.
Adjustments to individual needs
In order to optimally adapt the lamp to his needs, it simply had to be mounted on the table top using the screw-on flange included in the scope of delivery. In this case, Mr. Stolz wanted to position the lamp a little higher above the workplace, so he quickly made a wooden base with a height of approx. 20cm for his height-adjustable workbenchproduced. This customization allowed him to place the light exactly where it was most effective for him personally.
A week after installing the Premium Line 32W light, I was already feeling the positive effects. The perfect lighting of my workplace allows me to work more precisely while my eyes remain relaxed. The decision for this lamp was definitely the right one and I am very happy with the result.
