Description

When precise light is essential, the MFS LED flexible arm light delivers concentrated brightness directly to the work area: 5000 lx @ 50 cm, 4 W LED with 18° optics, 5000 K, and CRI > 80 for clear contours during inspection, assembly, or processing tasks. The robust gooseneck with additional tilt-and-turn joint can be positioned in seconds and remains stable even under vibration. IP54 protection, safety glass, a switch in the base, and a magnetic base or screw-on flange ensure long-lasting, industrial-grade use. Ready for connection with 100–240 V AC (24 V DC on request).
Luminous flux The luminous flux indicates how much visible light a light source emits in all directions and is measured in lumens (lm). It describes the brightness of the light source and determines how well a room is illuminated.

350 lumens

Illuminance (50cm) The illuminance, measured in lux (lx), describes the amount of light that hits a surface. A higher lux value means more brightness.

5000 Lux

Color temperature The color temperature indicates how warm or cold the light appears, measured in Kelvin (K). Low values produce warm, yellowish light, high values produce cool, bluish light.

neutral white (5000 Kelvin)

Color rendering Color rendering describes how natural and accurate a light source makes the colors of objects appear. It is measured using the color rendering index (CRI), with higher values meaning better color representation.

CRI > 80 (typ.83)

Lifespan The LB value indicates the longevity of a luminaire. L describes the remaining luminous flux (e.g., L80 = 80% brightness), and B the proportion of LEDs that are below this (e.g., B10 = 10% dimmer). Example: L80B10 @ 50.000h means that 50.000% of the brightness is still maintained after 80 hours.

The lamp is absolutely worth its price. 😍 Wonderfully bright, yet not blinding, very beautifully made and can be adjusted easily and flexibly. For something that is used almost every day and makes painting miniatures much more pleasant, it can sometimes be a little more expensive. 😊

We had great advice where our wishes were taken into account and we were also able to test the lamp first. The switch to the LED Pro Line 24W articulated light ultimately significantly improved the working and visual conditions for our employees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about our flexible arm lights.

Flexible-arm lights are ideal for manual workstations, test stations, assembly tables, machine tools, and workstations with limited space. They provide targeted light where machines, workpieces, or tools cast shadows—perfect for precise, fine work. They are also frequently used in laboratories or on analysis and testing machines because they provide precise, glare-free illumination.

For industrial environments, we recommend flexible arm luminaires with at least IP65 or IP67 protection. These protection ratings ensure that the luminaires are dustproof, protected against water jets, and even temporary submersion. This ensures that flexible arm luminaires remain permanently operational even when exposed to oil, coolants, or heavy use.

For industrial applications, we recommend flexible arm luminaires with light colors between 4000 K (neutral white) and 5000 K (daylight-like). These light colors offer high visual clarity with pleasant brightness. Depending on the location, flexible arm luminaires should provide at least 1000 lumens or more to create optimal lighting conditions without shadows.

Yes, our flexible arm lights are designed for easy retrofitting. Thanks to various mounting options such as magnetic bases, clamp mounts, or screw-on bases, they can be easily installed on existing machines, workbenches, or test stations.

Flex-arm lights feature a flexible gooseneck that can be adjusted continuously in any direction without a fixed grid. They are particularly suitable for spot lighting in confined spaces, such as during delicate assembly or inspection work.
Articulated luminaires, on the other hand, have defined rotation and tilt axes, allowing for targeted, but more limited, movement. They are primarily used where larger areas need to be evenly illuminated—for example, at wide workbenches or production workstations.

Many models can be connected directly to machine control systems with a 24 V supply voltage. This allows flexible arm lights to be automatically switched on and off with the machine or controlled via control panels – ideal for seamless integration into existing systems.
