Description
Light details
| Luminous flux The luminous flux indicates how much visible light a light source emits in all directions and is measured in lumens (lm). It describes the brightness of the light source and determines how well a room is illuminated. |
900 lumens |
|---|---|
| Illuminance (15cm) |

| Color temperature The color temperature indicates how warm or cold the light appears, measured in Kelvin (K). Low values produce warm, yellowish light, high values produce cool, bluish light. |
neutral white (5000 Kelvin) |
| Color rendering Color rendering describes how natural and accurate a light source makes the colors of objects appear. It is measured using the color rendering index (CRI), with higher values meaning better color representation. |

| Lifespan The LB value indicates the longevity of a luminaire. L describes the remaining luminous flux (e.g., L80 = 80% brightness), and B the proportion of LEDs that are below this (e.g., B10 = 10% dimmer). Example: L80B10 @ 50.000h means that 50.000% of the brightness is still maintained after 80 hours. |

Reliable protection against electrostatic discharge
ESD safety is essential in sensitive manufacturing and testing areas. Our ESD lights were specially developed for use in electrostatically protected areas (EPAs). They dissipate generated voltages in a controlled manner, thus preventing accidental damage to sensitive components. Ideal for all workplaces where quality and safety are top priorities.
Safe lighting meets state-of-the-art technology
Modern LED technology meets sophisticated design: A high color rendering index ensures precise visibility, while the stepDIM function ensures the perfect light intensity – all without any detours. Thanks to the sturdy articulated arm, the light stays exactly where you need it – without wobbling or readjustment.
Perfect working conditions for precision work
Free your hands to work – magnify objects and provide sufficient light with just one product. ESD lights ensure safety in accordance with standards without compromising on light quality or ergonomics. This allows you to concentrate on delicate details that would be difficult to see with the human eye, even after extended periods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions about our magnifying lamps.
At what distance from the object should I use the magnifying lamp?
The optimal working distance between the lens and the object is with magnifying lamps 3-diopter magnification in about 30 cm. With magnifying lamps with 5 diopter magnification We recommend that our customers maintain a working distance from the object of about 18 cm, in order to be able to see the smallest details in the cutout.
Thanks to our particularly robust and at the same time easily adjustable flex or friction joint arms, our magnifying lamps offer a large range of movement and can be individually positioned according to the visual task.
What magnification factor do I need for my work?
The higher the positive number of diopters, the higher the magnification factor of the lens.
| Diopters | magnification factor | working distance |
| 3 | 1,75 times | about 30 cm |
| 4 | 2,0 times | about 24 cm |
| 5 | 2,25 times | about 18 cm |
| 6 | 2,5 times | about 15 cm |
The higher the magnification factor of the lens, the smaller the focal length, ie the optimal working distance to the object is smaller and so is the field of view.
Our experience and feedback from our customers showed that in most areas of application, a magnification of 3 diopters or 5 diopters offers the highest working comfort. Magnifying lamps with a magnification factor of 3 diopters are sufficient and versatile for most common work in workshops, as a reading aid, in the dental sterilization room or in dental practices. You get a large field of view, high depth of field and an undistorted image across the entire lens.
However, if you want to work on very small details, you should use a lamp with 5 dioptres. With a magnification of 225%, even the finest objects are clearly visible, but the field of view is also reduced.
What material is the lens made of?
In our ESD magnifying lamps, we only use biconvex ground glass lenses of optician quality, i.e. no optically inferior pressed glass or scratch-sensitive plastic lenses.
How do I attach the ESD magnifying lamp?
Depending on your application, there are a variety of different mounting options available. You can choose from: screw-on flange, table clamp, wall mount, and table base. See for yourself and check the "Accessories" tab to see which mounting option is right for you and your model.
How can I clean my ESD magnifying lamp?
Our ESD magnifying lamps made of anodized aluminum are generally very low-maintenance, even with daily use. However, over time, the lamp housing may fade due to dust and dirt, and the lamp needs cleaning. Learn how to do this in our short article: Care and cleaning tips for LED lights
Can the LED modules be replaced in the event of a defect or does the entire luminaire have to be disposed of?
The LED modules in our ESD magnifying lamps can be replaced at a low cost. Simply contact us, and we'll take care of your request as quickly as possible.
