Product description
The RLL Pro ESD magnifying lamp was specially developed for the electronics industry and provides reliable protection against electrostatic discharge – ideal for assembly, quality control, and laboratory use. Thanks to powerful LEDs and a 360° ring light, it offers uniform, shadow-free illumination. The glass lens, available in 3 or 5 diopters, ensures distortion-free magnification, while the robust 3D articulated arm allows for precise and ergonomic positioning. The three-stage stepDIM function enables quick adjustment of the light intensity. Compared to standard solutions, the RLL Pro ESD magnifying lamp impresses with its high color rendering (CRI > 90), stable construction, and practical operation for efficient, eye-friendly work in ESD-protected workspaces.

Maximum precision & depth of field
Various magnification levels allow you to master even tricky tasks and see every tiny detail without straining your eyes. High-quality real glass lenses with a wide viewing area ensure an undistorted image with exceptional depth of field – all without constantly readjusting the light. Ideal for precise detail work and inspections.

Efficient & Ergonomic
Efficient light meets maximum user comfort. State-of-the-art LED modules are particularly energy-efficient and can be dimmed according to personal preferences. The proximity to the object can also be individually adjusted thanks to flexible articulated arm technology.

Perfect working conditions for precision work
Hands-free work – magnification of objects and sufficient light with just one product. Even after extended periods, you can remain focused on intricate details that would be difficult to discern with the naked eye.

Frequently asked questions
You can find detailed answers in our FAQ and in the datasheets.
At what distance from the object should I use the magnifying lamp?
The optimal working distance between the lens and the object is with magnifying lamps 3 diopter magnification at approximately 30 cm. With magnifying lamps with 5 diopter magnification We recommend that our customers maintain a working distance from the object of about 18 cm, in order to be able to see the smallest details in the cutout.
Thanks to our particularly robust and at the same time easily adjustable flex or friction joint arms, our magnifying lamps offer a large range of motion and can be individually positioned according to the visual task.
What magnification factor do I need for my work?
The higher the positive number of diopters, the higher the magnification factor of the lens.
| Diopters | magnification factor | working distance |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 1,75 times | about 30 cm |
| 4 | 2,0 times | about 24 cm |
| 5 | 2,25 times | about 18 cm |
| 6 | 2,5 times | about 15 cm |
However, the higher the magnification factor of the lens, the shorter the focal length, meaning the optimal working distance to the object becomes smaller and consequently so does the field of view.
Our experience and customer feedback have shown that in most applications, a magnification of 3 or 5 diopters offers the greatest working comfort. Magnifying lamps with a magnification factor of 3 diopters are sufficient and versatile for most common tasks in workshops, as reading aids, in dental sterilization rooms, or in dental practices. They provide a wide field of view, high depth of field, and an undistorted image across the entire lens.
However, those who want to work on very small details should opt for a light with 5 diopters. With a magnification of 225%, even the finest objects become clearly visible, but the field of view is also reduced.
What material is the lens made of?
In our magnifying lamps, we exclusively use biconvex ground glass lenses of optician quality, i.e., no optically inferior pressed glass or scratch-sensitive plastic lenses.
How do I attach the magnifying lamp?
Depending on your needs, there are a variety of mounting options for your RMD work light. These include: screw-on flange, table clamp, wall mount, and table base. See for yourself and browse the "Accessories" tab to find the right mounting option for you and your model.
How can I clean my magnifying lamp?
Our magnifying lamps made of anodized aluminum are generally very low-maintenance, even with daily use. However, over time, the lamp housing may become faded due to dust and dirt – the lamp will need cleaning. You can find out the best way to do this in our short article: Care and Cleaning Tips for LED Lamps.
If the LED modules are defective, can they be replaced, or does the entire light fixture have to be disposed of?
The LED modules of our magnifying lamps can be replaced at low cost. Simply contact us and we will take care of your concerns as quickly as possible.
