Can the non-dimmable LED panel variants be controlled via remote control?
Remote control is only available for our dimmable LED panels. This remote is included as standard with all dimmable versions, both with and without color changing functionality. Non-dimmable LED panels are switched on and off using a standard light switch.
What advantages do full-spectrum LED panels offer me?
Light is a crucial factor for health and well-being. Especially when we spend a lot of time indoors, natural light is essential for maintaining our internal clock and enabling us to concentrate. Numerous studies show that natural daylight is vital for performance and health. Full-spectrum LED panels capture the entire spectrum of daylight, allowing the light to be individually adjusted according to the time of day and supporting our circadian rhythm – this promotes performance and concentration, and makes us feel more vital and balanced.
What mounting options do I have?
Depending on personal preferences and room conditions, various mounting options are available for attaching the LED panels:
- direct insertion of the LED panel into an existing system ceiling
- direct attachment to the ceiling using a mounting frame
- Suspension of the panel from the ceiling using steel cables and retaining clips
If your room already has a suspended ceiling, the LED panels can be easily replaced and installed without much effort. Mounting with a frame is particularly recommended for solid ceilings, such as those made of concrete. In the case of very high ceilings, the LED panel should be suspended with thin steel cables to ensure sufficient brightness at the workstation.
How can a 62x62 panel be integrated into an Odenwald ceiling?
95% of standard suspended ceilings/cavity ceilings have fiberboard panels with a clear opening of approximately 60,5 cm. This means our 62×62 cm RMD LED panel can be integrated. If the clear opening is less than 60 cm, a 60×60 cm LED panel must be used. Therefore, we ask that you measure the clear opening of your fiberboard panel before purchasing a 62×62 cm LED panel.
How are the LED panels mounted?
Installing the LED panels is very easy! For direct ceiling mounting, the panels are attached using the appropriate mounting frame. If the light is to be suspended from the ceiling, for example, due to the room height, it is attached using steel cables and mounting clips. The panels are electrically connected like conventional ceiling lights using the three corresponding connection wires.
For which areas of application are the LED panels suitable?
Thanks to their excellent light quality (full-spectrum light) and their simple, ultra-flat design, these LED panels are versatile and can be used in a variety of settings – whether at home, in the office, or for lighting other workplaces. Typical applications include reception areas, training rooms, treatment rooms, offices, waiting rooms, as well as home offices and private dining and living areas.
Are the LED panels suitable for lighting computer workstations?
Yes! Thanks to the particularly low glare factor (UGR < 19) and virtually flicker-free light (flicker percentage of less than 1%), the LED panels are ideal for illuminating screen workstations.
What distinguishes the LED panels from conventional ceiling lights?
Unlike many conventional ceiling lights, these LED panels illuminate the entire room with exceptionally even and natural light. Thanks to their flat design, they are also significantly less obtrusive than conventional LED ceiling lights and can be seamlessly integrated into any room. The full-spectrum LED light is flicker-free, gentle on the eyes, and promotes concentration and well-being.
How can I dim my LED panel?
The LED panels are dimmed using the included remote control. This has the crucial advantage that you can install the light anywhere without having to make any electrical adjustments. If several panels are installed in the room, they can be controlled either individually or in groups.
How many LED panels do I need to illuminate my room?
The question of how many LED panels are needed cannot be answered generally. How many panels are required for optimal room illumination depends on several factors, such as ceiling height, other and natural light sources in the room, and individual lighting requirements. Furniture and wall color also influence the room's ambiance and thus its lighting.
